Wow. Okay, I gotta admit, technology is pretty cool. I am posting this post from my PHONE. How awesome is that? :)

Hobbes: Hobbes is a warm and witty gentleman who resides in the Southeastern United States. He's politically conservative, if you must know. He considers himself a Christian (Protestant; specifically, a Baptist), though he's a pretty sorry excuse for one, much of the time, so he's not terribly judgmental. Hobbes has a pretty dark view of human nature — hence his nom de plume. Hobbes is desperately trying to achieve a measure of what smarty-pants folks would refer to as "self-actualization," and this blog is partly a record of that quest. Hobbes would really like it if self-actualization somehow involves some seriously good Bar-B-Q ribs and crinkle-cut French fries, but he's not getting his hopes up about that. Abraham Maslow was Jewish, after all, so it's unlikely his understanding of self-actualization involved sweet, smoky, succulent pork products.
